The PPEPCA Secretariat is responsible for the day to day handling of industry issues, coordinating with member companies and the various Ministries of the Government. The Secretariat is run by professional staff hired for the purpose. The Secretariat has modern conference and office facilities.

Secretary General – PPEPCA
The Secretary General has an overall responsibility for running the affairs of the secretariat. His responsibilities include i) meeting specific targets assigned to him and ii) maintaining contacts and lobbying with the Ministries for resolution of industry issues.

The position of Secretary General was created mid-2006 to further strengthen and professionalize the role of PPEPCA.
Mr. Mazhar Farooq is the first Secretary General, having over 35 years experience in the oil & gas sector.
